About The Position
Participants start their Healthcare career with a state approved Nurse Aide Training Program (NATP) through Healthcare Training & Career Consultants in Honolulu. Following completion of NATP, work will follow as a Resident Aide with Hale O Meleana (Assisted Living Facility) in Honolulu. This is a great opportunity to launch your Healthcare Career! Resident Aides provide quality care and services for residents to include personal care and activities of daily living.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent / Minimum age of 18.
Nice To Haves
- Satisfactory completion of Nurse Aide Program preferred
- Certified (CNA) preferred.
- Experience in an environmental services or customer service position in healthcare setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with their physical needs to include transporting, feeding, toileting, personal hygiene, and dressing.
- Monitor residents' condition and report changes to Resident Care Manager.
- Housekeeping duties as assigned: dusting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, and re-stocking items.
- Assist resident with scheduled activities and appointments.
- Review weekly care plans and monitor for updates.
