Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • A passion for serving older adults and working as part of a compassionate team.
  • 1–2 years of experience in assisted living, senior living, long-term care, memory care, skilled nursing, or another healthcare setting.
  • Stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the shift.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Safely operate mechanical lifts and resident care equipment.
  • Maintain the physical stamina necessary to provide quality resident care.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a Resident Aide, Caregiver, Resident Assistant, CNA, or Med Tech preferred.
  • Leadership, mentoring, charge, or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, resident-centered care in a home-like environment.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, mobility, personal care, and medications.
  • Monitor resident well-being and communicate changes to the clinical team.
  • Support meal service, light housekeeping, and life enrichment activities.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and families.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow safety and infection control procedures.
  • Collaborate with fellow caregivers to provide outstanding resident care.
  • Lead, coach, and support Resident Aide team members.
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring new caregivers.
  • Coordinate daily assignments and shift operations.
  • Conduct quality audits and documentation reviews.
  • Partner with Clinical Managers to promote employee engagement and performance.
  • Provide direct resident care while supporting overall team success.
