About The Position

AdvisaCare is seeking experienced, professional Resident Aide and Med Techs to assist clients in a beautiful Independent Living Community in the Spring Lake area. We are looking for full-time/part-time caregivers for all shifts. The role involves passing medications, assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), interacting with residents and their families, monitoring the dining room, handling fast-paced situations, transferring residents as needed, and performing light housekeeping duties.

Requirements

Recent experience/training in other Independent/Assisted Living Facilities and/or MORC Certified
High School Graduate or GED
Reliable transportation
Valid Driver’s License
Ability to work in a team responsibly and independently
Good communication skills
Ability to travel within the service area
CPR Certified
Ability to pass a drug screen/clear background

Responsibilities

Passing medications
Assisting with ADLs (Showering, Dressing, Toileting etc)
Interacting with residents and their families
Monitoring in the dining room and interacting with residents at meal times
Handling fast paced situations
Transferring as needed
Light housework duty
