About The Position
Aspire Rural Health System is hiring a Resident Activities Assistant. We're looking for individuals with a positive attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering the highest quality of service to both our patients and employees.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- CPR or First Aid Certified
Nice To Haves
- CNA certification preferred
- Prior experience with senior adults with dementia and Alzheimer’s preferred
- Prior experience in planning and implementing activities and events preferred
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other activity coordinators to schedule, plan and produce events for the residents of the institution.
- Make decisions about which activities might be most valuable for the audience.
- Plan each part of the event.
- Create a collection of activities that offer different types of stimulation, including those that offer opportunities for mental, physical, social and emotional growth and enjoyment.
