About The Position

Axia Residential is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Resident Account Specialist to support resident account management and delinquency reduction efforts across two multifamily communities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with residents, and helping drive operational and financial performance.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in multifamily housing, property management, collections, resident services, or accounts receivable preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Entrata, RealPage, or similar property management systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage resident accounts and monitor outstanding balances
  • Support delinquency reduction efforts through resident outreach and payment follow-up
  • Work closely with onsite teams and residents to resolve account issues professionally and efficiently
  • Review resident ledgers and maintain accurate account records
  • Assist with payment arrangements, notices, and account documentation
  • Support move-out account processing and final balance reconciliation
  • Help identify trends and opportunities to improve account performance and operational efficiency
  • Partner with onsite teams to support occupancy and resident retention goals
