The Residency Program Director and Hematology Oncology Pharmacist provides quality pharmaceutical care defined as being responsible for assuring the provision of safe, efficacious and cost-effective drug therapy for all patients. The pharmacist will utilize integrated and routine communication with all health care professionals and patients concerning medical care and quality of life with the emphasis placed on the monitoring and documentation of specific pharmacotherapy outcomes. Provides assistance and in-depth drug information to medical personnel; performs operational/clinical functions or projects as assigned. Work is typically performed in a clinical environment.
