The physicians who care for Florida's children tomorrow are training in UF Pediatrics today — and the coordinators in the Pediatric Medical Education Office are a significant reason that training runs well. If you're an organized, people-centered administrator who thrives in a complex academic environment, we have multiple openings in the Department of Pediatrics' central medical education hub that are worth your attention. These positions may each be filled at the Residency/Fellowship Program Coordinator I or Coordinator II level, depending on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. The Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day administration of assigned fellowship programs, with a strong focus on program operations and accreditation compliance. Working closely with the Program Director, the Coordinator serves as a primary point of contact for fellows, faculty, the institutional GME office, and accrediting bodies. The Coordinator plays an integral role in fellowship recruitment and educational program administration. Responsibilities include managing the full fellowship recruitment cycle, including ERAS administration, applicant communications, interview scheduling, and NRMP Match activities. The position also coordinates educational activities such as didactic conferences, clinical rotations, faculty teaching schedules, and fellow evaluation processes. At both appointment levels, Coordinators contribute to broader PME office operations by providing administrative support and coverage across Pediatric programs. This includes supporting Program Directors, Associate Program Directors, and Chief Residents and facilitating effective communication and coordination among fellows, faculty, program leadership, and institutional stakeholders.
