About The Position

The Residences Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and condition of all common area spaces to meet designated standards. This role involves identifying and reporting maintenance issues, requesting repairs, and ensuring cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored. The attendant will also complete required paperwork, respond to management requests, and serve as a departmental role model. Key aspects of the role include adhering to company and safety policies, maintaining professional appearance and confidentiality, and providing exceptional service to Residence owners. The position requires the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, reaching, and standing for extended periods, as well as using computer systems for work-related information. Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Less than 1-year related work experience.
No supervisory experience.
Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance.
Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift.
Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Ability to enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
Ability to visually verify and interpret written documents.

Responsibilities

Use checklists to maintain cleanliness and condition of all common area spaces and meet designated standards.
Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in all common areas.
Request preventative maintenance or non-urgent repairs using appropriate method.
Contact the Residences office directly for urgent repairs.
Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment.
Document and report outstanding issues.
Complete required Housekeeping paperwork.
Respond promptly to requests from the Residences Management office.
Serve as a departmental role model or mentor; follow up to confirm employee compliance with company standards and policies and external regulations.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; properly store flammable materials.
Ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
Welcome and acknowledge all Residence owners according to company standards; anticipate and address Residence owners’ service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
Speak with others using clear and professional language.
