The Residence Life Graduate Assistant (GA) promotes a safe living and learning community within the residence hall by supporting programming efforts and serving on-call rotations. The GA must be a full-time graduate student, dedicating an average of 20 hours per week to responsibilities. Strong interpersonal communication skills, cultural competence, and programming experience are required. Familiarity with residence hall systems or other education administration/management experience is strongly preferred. This is a part-time, live-in position requiring 20 office hours per week, including weekends, on-call duties, one-on-ones, and departmental meetings. Employment is subject to annual review and renewal. The GA must maintain good academic standing.
