The Residence Hall Director & Residential Education Coordinator is a live-in, full-time professional staff member within the Division of Student Affairs, serving as a dynamic leader in the residential community. This dual role position focuses on managing the overall operations of a residence hall while coordinating residential education initiatives. Responsibilities include supervising student staff, developing community-building programs, crisis management, policy enforcement, and fostering an inclusive environment that supports academic success and personal development. This position combines responsibilities for hall management and staff supervision with leadership in student learning and development through a residential curriculum framework. Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Residence Life and Student Development, the position manages one to two residential buildings, supervises 5–12 Resident Assistants, implements residential programming model and designs intentional learning experiences that foster student success, retention, and personal growth. The role also supports the university’s strategic priorities through innovative programming, academic interventions, crisis response, and inclusive practices that promote a vibrant living-learning environment.
