About The Position

As a Reset Merchandiser Floater, you will collaborate with local store teams and fellow team members on new store installations, resets/remodels, and seasonal installations. You will support and work independently, showcasing your organization and time management skills, and ability to establish retailer relationships while representing Hallmark. There will be occasions to collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory. You may also work with other products from companies Hallmark services. You will be provided with a schedule in advance for the accounts you will service. The job includes removing product, dismantling and building/assembling fixtures, and placing products on display. This could range from a small reset on a 4ft display to an entire department. Typically, an on-site Installation Supervisor will assign tasks.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Able to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
  • Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
  • Access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
  • Must live within the service area and be available to travel within the area.
  • Physically demanding job requiring high energy and a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion.
  • Required to kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the workday.
  • May be required to climb stairs and step ladders.

Responsibilities

  • Perform service work in Hallmark departments of various retail stores (grocery, drug, department, mass retailers).
  • Execute assigned reset/installation activities, including removing product and trash, dismantling and building fixtures, and displaying products.
  • Utilize a mobile device for communication with supervisor, feedback, surveys, and inventory monitoring.
  • Support holiday seasons with additional days and extended hours leading up to and following major holidays.
  • Potentially work on actual holidays and weekends during peak seasons like Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Father's Day.
  • Support other team members in their territories as part of Hallmark's field organization.
  • Travel within the assigned geographical area (Derby, VT to Saratoga, NY to Warrensburg, NY to Berlin, VT, with Burlington, VT as the approximate center).
