Requirements

Must be able to work weekends.
Scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures.
Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests and associates.
Effectively communicate and coordinate with all departments during functions.
Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.
Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.
Conducts him/herself, acts and dresses professionally at all times; sets standards for all associates.
Understands and communicates the DHM/Margaritaville Lake Resort Mission.
Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively, and professionally.
Actively listens to others.
Conveys company information, decision, or problems to appropriate parties on a timely basis.
Must have or be able to acquire knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.
Must have exceptional computer skills.
High school education and relevant training and experience required.
Must be able to type 30 words per minute with 80% accuracy

Responsibilities

Handle incoming calls using good listening and communication skills to secure information necessary to complete a reservation.
Use good selling techniques to up-sell when appropriate.
Process daily reports, confirmations, advance deposits and purchase orders for future reservations.
Update GDS reservations (online reservation sites) in reservations system (RDP) and on-line extranets.
Assist the Reservation Supervisor and Revenue Manager with Reservation
