About The Position
Riggs Washington DC is seeking a Reservations Agent to join their team. This role is responsible for handling reservation calls, emails, and online inquiries, processing reservations, and providing guests with information about the hotel. The ideal candidate will have a fun and welcoming personality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain a flexible schedule. While hotel experience is not required, a minimum of 1-2 years of hospitality experience is preferred.
Requirements

- Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of current hotel and nearby events
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written is a MUST
- Possess poise, elegance and calm demeanor in all situations
- Exceptional Organizational skills
- Flexible schedule is required to meet the needs of the business
Nice To Haves
- Hotel Experience is not required
- A minimum of 1 -2 years hospitality experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Answer reservation calls, emails, and online inquiries professionally.
- Process new reservations, changes, and cancellations accurately.
- Provide guests with information about rooms, rates, amenities, and hotel services.
- Promote room upgrades and special offers when appropriate.
- Coordinate guest requests with hotel departments to ensure a seamless stay.
- Maintain accurate reservation records and guest profiles.
- Resolve reservation-related guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
