About The Position

Wilderness Resort is seeking a hardworking, dependable, enthusiastic, customer service-driven Reservationist to communicate with guests by phone and take hotel reservations. The position supports the resort’s goal of providing guests with a fun, safe, and memorable experience. It is full-time and requires night and weekend availability. The position is located in Baraboo, Wisconsin.

Requirements

• Hardworking, dependable, enthusiastic, and customer service-driven.
• Ability to multitask across several programs and computer screens.
• Ability to maintain a calm and pleasant demeanor while communicating with guests and colleagues.
• Availability to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Learn about Wilderness Resort properties, units, policies, and amenities.
• Use telephone software to communicate with guests and suggest lodging options and rates.
• Multitask across several programs and computer screens.
• Prepare, alter, and modify lodging accommodations using the computerized reservations system.
• Process credit card transactions.
• Maintain a calm and pleasant demeanor when communicating with guests and colleagues.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
