Under the direction of the Senior Pastor, and in accordance with the Cornerstone Chapel Articles of Faith, the Researcher will research various topics assigned by the Senior Pastor and the Executive Director of Communications. Topics may include but are not limited to: Biblical content, religious history, religious writings and commentary, world history, politics, and state and national events. He or she will review information for accuracy, and ensure alignment with the views of Cornerstone Chapel and its Senior Pastor. Research may be used in speaking engagements, sermons, podcasts, events, publishing, and more. He or she will also research available Cornerstone Chapel content (sermons, study guides, etc.) and organize information to develop a database for use by other staff members. He or she will learn and operate a variety of software programs related to research and dissemination. Administrative tasks will be required (i.e., expense tracking). He or she will seek to perform all duties as unto the Lord, relying on the Holy Spirit for guidance, and completing all tasks with excellence.
