About The Position

The researcher will be conducting computational biochemistry research, at the interface of data science and protein dynamics. Specifically, the researcher will perform molecular dynamics simulations and create machine learning models to extract information and make predictions based on biochemical data and physicochemical properties. The candidate should have a strong background in biology, covering organic chemistry, cell and molecular biology, and preferably exposure to experimental assays of biochemical systems and properties. The candidate should also have basic knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and physics, and experience with programming languages (python preferred).
