About The Position

The Researcher 1 will support the Center for Antibody Therapeutics (CAT) within the Pelotonia Institute for Immuno-Oncology (PIIO) under the direct supervision of Dr. Zhiwei Hu, Co-Director of the PIIO CAT at the OSUCCC – James. The Researcher 1 will perform structured research assignments and routine laboratory activities supporting translational cancer research focused on antibodies and proteins, antibody-drug conjugates, bispecific antibodies, and antibody-based CAR-NK and CAR-T cell immunotherapies. The Researcher 1 will also perform routine in vitro and in vivo laboratory procedures using established protocols; collect, analyze, and document research data; and communicate findings to the research team; assist with literature reviews, figures, manuscripts, reports, and grant materials; maintain laboratory safety and compliance requirements; support routine laboratory operations, supplies, and equipment; and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, health sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience required; three years of relevant experience required with an associate's degree, or one year of relevant experience required with a bachelor's degree.
  • Ability to apply basic scientific concepts and follow established research protocols under supervision.
  • Relevant laboratory experience in biological or health science research, such as cell culture, molecular biology, protein biochemistry, chromatography, or antibody-based methods.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, recordkeeping, and communication skills.

Responsibilities
