The Centre for Research & Innovation Support (CRIS) serves as a hub and connector for research services, tools, and expertise across the University of Toronto. CRIS promotes the visibility, access, and value of research and innovation supports by providing leadership and coordination. The Research Tools & Technology Liaison will support the planning and delivery of researcher-centric services to enhance the university's research and innovation impact. This role requires up-to-date knowledge of resources, tools, and technology relevant to scholarly research and innovation across various disciplines and stages of the research process. The incumbent will work with the CRIS team and partners to communicate these resources, act as a liaison for faculty and divisional research offices, and help identify available solutions. The role involves developing and refining researcher-centric resources like the CRIS Resource Hub and Digital Research Infrastructure Portal, using user-centered design strategies. The Liaison will lead working groups, apply project management principles, and synthesize information to recommend new tools for adoption. They will also develop documentation and procedures for new tools and coordinate training and workshops to build researcher capacity.
