The Gingery laboratory investigates local and systemic impacts of aging, cellular senescence, immune dysregulation, and metabolic dysfunction in musculoskeletal diseases and conditions. These include carpal tunnel syndrome, Dupuytren contracture, rheumatoid arthritis, connective tissue fibrosis, tendinopathy, rotator cuff tears, tendon injury and repair, skeletal biology, and wound healing. The goal is to develop evidence-based preventives and therapeutics. Dr. Gingery and her Musculoskeletal Biology and Immunology Laboratory uses multidisciplinary, state-of-the-art approaches, including bioinformatics and spatial, single-cell, and metabolomic multi-omics. The Research Technologist would support ongoing projects. Duties will include routine, cell, molecular, model system and translational laboratory work under supervision of the PI. Candidate should be highly goal and detail oriented and have strong teamwork skills. Training will be provided on many in-lab techniques but previous experience working with model systems and molecular techniques is highly preferred.
