About The Position

Sets up and performs routine and established lab procedures in support of lab goals and grant commitments. This includes tasks such as assays, cell/tissue culture, and animal studies. The role involves monitoring results, reporting unusual outcomes, and suggesting modifications. The technologist will collect, enter, and summarize data, assist in maintaining lab equipment and supplies, and perform basic statistical data analysis. Preparation of tables, charts, and graphs, as well as assistance in organizing data, are also key functions. The position requires presenting at research laboratory meetings and contributing to the writing of manuscripts. Work is performed under supervision, with the possibility of performing some assignments independently as approved by the Principal Investigator.
