The CCMT fosters a multidisciplinary approach among researchers and scientists working to discover new gene and cell therapies in search of cures for debilitating and life-threatening disorders. The Davidson Laboratory, an integral part of the CCMT, studies neurodegenerative disorders with the goal of finding long term therapies. We are looking for a research technician to work alongside scientists investigating neurological developmental and degenerative diseases. The ideal candidate will have laboratory experience and knowledge of molecular biology. Familiarity with basic laboratory techniques such as PCR, gel electrophoresis, and DNA/RNA isolation desired. The technician will be trained in next generation sequencing library preparation, tissue culture work, molecular cloning, and proteomics such as western blotting. Prior experience in any of these specialties is a plus.
