The Bernstein lab is recruiting a Research Technician I/II to perform experiments and support ongoing research under the supervision of the Principal Investigator. An individual research project will be encouraged.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related scientific field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated scientific knowledge in the area of study
  • Demonstrated basic laboratory skills
  • 2 years of experience working in a lab outside of school coursework

Nice To Haves

  • A basic understanding of stem cell biology and antibodies
  • Experience with mammalian cell line culturing, including stem cells and/or PDX models
  • Experience with multi-color flow cytometry
  • Experience with molecular biology techniques including cloning, DNA purification and immunoassays
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
