About The Position

The Research Technician 3 will support a project funded by The Ohio State University Office of Innovation and Economic Development focused on transitioning and porting artificial intelligence (AI) code developed within a research laboratory environment into a production-ready or operational setting. This work will support collaboration with Technology Commercialization Office (TCO) stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, or a closely related field required; 4 years of relevant experience required with High School diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience required with associate’s degree, or 0 years of relevant experience required with bachelor’s degree; is required.
• Proficient in multitasking problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

• Real-time systems coding
• worked with ultrasound images for AI based diagnosis
• has published at least one paper in computer vision or AI conferences
• Ability to effectively engage with multiple institutions, including collaborations between The Ohio State University (OSU) and the University of Arizona (UA)
