This position supports laboratory research focused on mouse behavioral models and related molecular techniques within a neuroscience research environment. The role involves conducting established behavioral assays, including Open Field, Elevated Plus Maze, Social Interaction, place conditioning and locomotor activity. The individual assists with the implementation and consistency of behavioral testing protocols and contributes to ongoing experimental workflows. In addition to behavioral work, the position supports coordination of a mouse colony of multiple lines, including breeding coordination, genotyping, and record maintenance. The role participates in routine laboratory activities, including data collection, basic data tracking, and preparation of materials for experiments. The individual works collaboratively with the PI and research staff, contributing to protocol adherence (e.g., IACUC) and assisting with the maintenance and standardization of laboratory procedures.
