About The Position
We are hiring a Research Tech/Life Sciences who will assist with duties that include extracting DNA from tissue samples and using PCR to amplify and sequence mitochondrial DNA. As well as submitting samples for further analysis. The candidate will also prepare SNP-based sequencing libraries and assist in training interns in molecular techniques.
Requirements
- Successful completion of at least 60 college-level credit hours
- At least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
- Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis

- Experience with DNA isolations
