About The Position

The Department of Materials Science and Engineering in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences is seeking applicants for part-time research support. Job duties to include: assisting in the analysis of Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) data collected by the Two-Dimensional Crystal Consortium (2DCC) using machine learning and computer vision techniques, and applying and extending existing feature extraction and classification tools to analyze experimental 2D materials imaging data.

Requirements

• Prior experience with Python, machine learning, and materials science is required.
