Join a multidisciplinary research team investigating how the lower jaw develops and how disruptions in this process may contribute to congenital craniofacial disorders. This position supports imaging, data management, and computational workflows for developmental biology research. The role helps ensure that large imaging and research datasets are accurately organized, prepared, and ready for analysis. Work includes managing data transfers, maintaining project databases, preparing imaging data, assisting with data collection, and running established Python-based machine learning workflows. The employee also conducts quality assurance checks, documents results, and identifies and helps resolve data discrepancies with the research team. Limited hands-on wet lab work preparing specimens for imaging may be involved. The position is suited to someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working with large datasets, and interested in applying computational tools to biomedical research. It offers hands-on experience supporting advanced imaging and machine learning approaches to research on jaw development, bone formation, and craniofacial disease.
