About The Position

Under the direction of a faculty researcher and program manager, the research student will assist in the development, coordination, and implementation of several evaluation projects of hospital- and community-based health improvement programs. The student will also assist with research, data collection, reports, quantitative analysis, literature review, and drafting protocols and reports. The purpose of this role is a learning experience for the intern/student. Projects differ depending on the department hosting each student.

Responsibilities

Records and tracks data and related information, maintaining a lab notebook and other files.
Conduct analysis and interpretation of the results generated through working by collaborating with postdoc fellows.
Attend and make presentations at lab meetings and journal clubs.
Work safely within the lab environment and in performing work duties.
Clerical and administrative duties in a research setting.
Assist in the development and design of surveys.
Coordinate, implement, and monitor data collection activities, including survey administration and interviewing.
Database management.
