About The Position

While working closely with research personnel, the Research Student I actively participates in a structured learning experience in the laboratory or clinical research setting. This role aims to provide hands-on experience in laboratory techniques, clinical settings, data collection and analysis, and/or other related skills to help students explore careers in biomedical and/or clinical research.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be accepted/enrolled in an accredited college or university as an undergraduate student.
• This position is NOT applicable to anyone who has completed all requirements for an undergraduate degree/diploma.
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• None required (for work experience).

Nice To Haves

• Students with previous research laboratory experience are often preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, student may conduct research in the laboratories and/or clinical setting
• Under direct supervision, student may perform data collection and analysis.
• Other duties as assigned.
