About The Position

The successful candidate will collaborate with the Principal Investigator (PI) and other lab members on projects investigating the structure and functions of the extracellular matrix. A primary focus will be on identifying mechanisms that regulate fibronectin matrix assembly. The role involves cell culture, protein analysis, and microscopy, as well as tasks related to lab maintenance.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in biology or related discipline.

Nice To Haves

  • Independent lab experience doing cell culture and protein analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Cell culture and microscopy (30%)
  • Analysis of matrix proteins and inhibitors (25%)
  • Cloning and preparing DNA constructs (15%)
  • Preparing experimental plans/keeping a notebook
  • Lab maintenance duties
  • Other activities (lab meeting, meeting with PI, etc.) (30%)
