The Department of Physiology and Cell Biology at The Ohio State University is seeking a Research Senior Technician to assist and support scientific investigations into mitochondrial dysfunction. This role involves independently conducting assigned experiments using a variety of molecular, cellular, and biological research techniques. The technician will also be responsible for testing and evaluating current procedures, performing routine procedures on lab animals, recording and analyzing research data, and assisting the principal investigator with data consolidation, grant proposals, manuscripts, publications, and presentations. Additionally, the role includes conducting literature reviews, maintaining laboratory records, and assisting with the training of junior research staff and students. The technician will also manage laboratory equipment and monitor research supplies.
