Takeda Development Center Americas, Inc. is seeking a Research Senior Scientist in Cambridge, MA. This role will serve as the DMPK representative on projects supporting the gastroenterology, autoimmune, and oncology Drug Discovery Units (DDUs) in developing novel drug therapies. The position focuses on providing molecular and cellular analysis support, early drug development, and translational research with an emphasis on cellular and molecular quantification using advanced technologies like flow cytometry, ddPCR, and Nanostring nCounter. Key responsibilities include communicating project needs and progress to internal stakeholders, developing innovative assays, troubleshooting bioanalytical issues, and adopting new technologies. The scientist will also design, validate, and implement new methodologies, including in silico approaches, and present experimental results to cross-functional teams and meetings. Additionally, the role involves providing scientific monitoring and guidance to external Contract Research Organizations (CROs) for method transfer, development, validation, and reporting to support non-clinical and preclinical development programs, ensuring study conduct, interpreting results, and preparing reports for internal or regulatory use.
