We provide integrated scientific expertise and global operational capabilities to help clients generate the evidence needed to optimize the market access and commercial potential of products.

The Evidera Real-World Data & Scientific Solutions (RWD&SS) team supports pharmaceutical companies throughout the product lifecycle, from early pre-launch planning to launch and post-marketing management. Our focus is on helping our clients build economic and epidemiological evidence to demonstrate and support the value of their products through analysis of large health administrative databases (e.g., medical claims, electronic health records, registries).

Independent principal investigator (PI) of projects responsible for overseeing all aspects of delivery of retrospective, cross-sectional, and/or prospective studies. Responsible for strategic consultation and for use of best methods to address research needs. Oversees and participates in a large project portfolio. Innovates scientifically and produces output of high scientific quality. Assumes significant responsibilities for sales targets and client development.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Epidemiology or Public Health with a minimum of 7 years' experience, including experience as a consultant with a pharmacoepidemiology focus.
• Advanced understanding of epidemiology/pharmacoepidemiology, statistics, and practical research implementation.
• Experience executing retrospective, cross-sectional, and/or prospective observational research using secondary data sources (e.g., medical claims, electronic health records, registries) and/or de novo data collection.
• Computer software skills required: Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Analyzes complex issues and evidence, identifies cause-effect relationships, and develops effective solutions.
• Makes sound decisions within scope of responsibility based on relevant information and implements solutions in a timely manner.
• Communicates scientific information effectively in written and verbal English, producing clear, accurate, and audience-appropriate deliverables.
• Delivers presentations to internal teams and clients using a variety of communication methods (e.g., written, electronic, oral, interpersonal).
• Builds collaborative working relationships with colleagues and clients to support successful project delivery.

• The role may require travel to scientific meetings/conferences and flexibility to work across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Independent PI of a large portfolio of projects, responsible for overseeing all aspects of proposals and project delivery.
• Responsible for project completion and quality delivery. Delegates coordination tasks to mid-level and junior staff.
• Responsible for significant sales targets, with accompanying expectations around client/business development. Contributes to strategic thinking around sales and product development.
• Makes meaningful contributions to process improvements and product development.
• Identifies training needs for junior staff, helps develop relevant training materials, recommends appropriate staff to lead trainings, and serves as a hands-on mentor.
• Co-authors abstracts/articles for scientific publication in journals or presentation at scientific meetings.
• Responsible for strategic consultation and recommending appropriate scientific methods to address research needs.
• Innovates scientifically and produces output of high scientific quality.
• Contributes to proposal development and supports client engagement activities.
