About The Position
Conduct and lead routine analytical characterization and the development of analytical methods to enable the analysis of biomolecules and impurities in the lab. Design scientific studies with clear goals and deliverables. Summarize and present scientific results and recommendations internally and externally. Work closely with the Cell Engineering, Process Engineering, and Bioproprocessing teams to facilitate and enable R&D development of protein and biopolymers processes. Draft SOPs and research reports as required. Maintain instruments, communicate with equipment vendors, and specify equipment needs.
Requirements
- Experience in analytical characterization of biomolecules and impurities
- Experience in developing analytical methods
- Ability to design scientific studies
- Ability to summarize and present scientific results
- Experience working with Cell Engineering, Process Engineering, and Bioprocessing teams
