WIL is seeking a Research Scientist in disability employment to lead research on jobs, supports, and employment outcomes for people with disabilities. The role is part of WIL’s expert collaborator network and supports a competitive grant application WIL is preparing; it is not a funded vacancy. No award has been made, and work or funding is not guaranteed. If an award proceeds and the staffing model calls for it, WIL may offer a project-based contract or consulting engagement. WIL will ask before naming the candidate or including their resume in a proposal. The Workforce Intelligence Lab (WIL) is an applied workforce research initiative that develops methodology-transparent workforce intelligence, including labor demand signals, occupational and credential pathways, and training-to-employment outcome measures. WIL works with education, employer, research, and community partners to turn evidence into grant and sponsored-project collaborations. The Research Scientist will lead research proposals and studies concerning employment, independent living, and community participation for people with disabilities; engage people with disabilities and disability organizations in research design; lead data analysis; and contribute research narratives, methods, and knowledge-translation plans. With authorization, the collaborator may also contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to WIL proposals.
