Research Scientist

Folia HealthBoston, MA
Hybrid

About The Position

Folia Health was founded to address the difficulty in receiving personalized, data-driven healthcare. Folia enables users to track their experiences (fatigue, symptom flares, pain) alongside their treatments to understand the best way forward. Many users also share their data through Research Programs, which provides Data Dividends and fuels the business model. Folia has developed and validated Home Reported Outcomes (HROs), a new type of health data that digitizes personal health knowledge through personalized multiple-choice questions. HROs are now a valued part of research methods for leading life sciences companies. The company name, Folia, is inspired by the power of individual contributions, likening users to leaves on a tree that strengthen the whole healthcare tree. Folia is female-founded and led, focused on making healthcare understandable, has been in business for 10 years, is backed by top venture funds, and is supported by a growing user community, particularly in rare conditions.
