About The Position

The Research Scientist at the Department of Health Services, Policy & Practice within the School of Public Health is responsible for leading and contributing to projects at a research center focused on understanding and developing policies that increase affordability and value in U.S. healthcare. The incumbent will devise, formulate, and execute investigative protocols and disseminate their insights through the publishing of findings in authoritative publications and documents. This work will address knowledge gaps as to what policies work best to reduce healthcare costs, enhance patient well-being, and transform how healthcare is provided in the U.S.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in health services research, economics, or a related discipline.
  • Evidence of rigorous training in research.
  • A track record of scholarly activity.

Responsibilities
