About The Position

Responsible for the operation of a highly complex or specialized research area or laboratory. Develops, designs, and conducts one or more large and highly complex research projects, reviews progress, and evaluates results. Formulates novel research methods and suggests options for improving quality, identifies potential problems, recommends and implements solutions, and collaborates in the development of new techniques. May act as a principal investigator for nationally and internationally recognized research. Authors manuscripts, writes grants, and generates new ideas for research. Conducts analysis of data, interprets, and implements research methodology based on the outcome of the analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related experience
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.

  • Demonstrated experience managing or supporting federally funded research projects.
  • Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary research teams and external partners.
  • Knowledge of federal grant administration, research compliance requirements, and data stewardship practices
