About The Position
Qorvo's Internship Program is designed for college students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program. Qorvo offers real work experience, exposure to upper management, and the opportunity to pursue full-time opportunities, as available. Qorvo’s Research Scientist Internships are offered in our High Performance Analog business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.
Requirements
- Candidate shall be currently enrolled in an accredited program seeking a PhD in Material Sciences Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Physics.
- Experience with epitaxy growth techniques such as: MOCVD and/or MBE.
- Experience with materials characterization techniques such as: X-ray diffraction, atomic force microscopy, and Hall and C-V etc.
- Experience of working in Cleanroom
- Strong analytical thinker
- Has an open mind
- Great collaborator
- Solid communication skills written and oral
Responsibilities
- Work with the material team and device team in the hands-on development of epitaxy growth (MOCVDF and MBE), device process and characterization
- Hands-on characterization of advanced semiconductor materials.
- Data generate and analysis
- Documentation and presentation of the results to the team.
