About The Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled laboratory technician with broad expertise in animal research and molecular/cellular biology techniques. This role will perform laboratory animal work, including handling, breeding, routine monitoring, and colony management. The position also involves conducting genotyping, maintaining accurate records of animal health and experimental data, supporting and performing tissue culture experiments, executing molecular and biochemical assays, including protein and RNA analyses, and performing immunohistochemistry and related techniques. Additionally, the Research Scholar will assist in maintaining laboratory organization, compliance, and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent extensive hands-on experience
- Demonstrated experience with animal handling and research procedures
- Proficiency in molecular and cellular biology techniques (e.g., tissue culture, RNA/protein assays, immunohistochemistry)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
