About The Position

As a Research RN Coordinator, you will comprehensively coordinate diverse research projects (retrospective, prospective, and basic science) conducted by medical staff. You are pivotal in ensuring smooth study progression. Every day you will provide essential technical expertise and support to investigators, hospital staff, and study sponsors, facilitating protocol adherence and managing logistics. To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong RN background, understanding of research methodology and regulations, and exceptional organizational and communication skills to manage multiple projects effectively.

• Basic Life Support - CPR
• Driver's License: NE

Responsibilities

• Manage studies with Principal Investigator and research management to develop effective clinical research programs.
• Contribute to policy and procedure review and development as delegated by research management.
• Implement and monitor clinical trials and research projects that meet institutional and facility/clinic objectives, and ensure compliance with protocol and sponsor requirements and all aspects of U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Office of Human Research Protections (OHRP) regulations, as well as institutional requirements.
• Support research management, PI, sponsors/CROs in identifying and evaluating potential new trials for feasibility of implementation at the site, provide recommendations.
• Complete feasibility assessments as needed.
• Prepare, manage, submit all required study/regulatory, documents, applications and forms, including but not limited to the applicable Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications form(s), informed consent documents, 1572, conflict of interest forms and other forms as required by the sponsor, IRB, or institution.
• Attend and prepare materials for clinical department meetings, as needed, for presentation of new protocols for review.
