The Oregon National Primate Center (ONPRC) is seeking a Research Project Manager to independently contribute to ongoing research using nonhuman primates as a model. This role is responsible for project management for several major projects in multiple divisions at ONPRC and will direct all studies assigned to the Collaborative Research Unit. The position will contribute to all stages of research projects, including animal research, protocol designs, IACUC applications, manuscript preparation, presentation of data at national meetings, assist in the writing of grant proposals, and execute molecular biology and histochemistry related experiments. The Research Project Manager will oversee 2-4 technical staff and trainees, provide guidance on study design and implementation, communicate with collaborators, and work independently and in small group settings.
