The Research Program Manager coordinates and facilitates the program objectives of all federally funded research projects and other pharmaceutical and foundation supported studies within established short and long-term goals. Coordinates the research related projects within the department. Administers programs and day-to-day research operations including grant management, grant preparation and financial activities. Establishes systems and procedures for smooth coordination of the research activities. Performs administrative duties, secures and coordinates resources, supervises and supports staff, establishes and maintains partnerships across sectors, and implements strategic plan in service of the department’s mission. Provides assistance with the research efforts of the department, as needed.
