Research Pharmacy Coordinator I
About The Position
The Research Pharmacy Coordinator I assesses drug supply requirements for clinical trials and ensures that trial supplies are ordered and delivered in a timely manner for research patient care. The coordinator also registers new study patients in clinical trials databases. The position is with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS), which provides cancer care and conducts clinical research. Employment offers are contingent on a satisfactory background screening. New hires must receive required vaccinations, including the influenza vaccine, unless an exemption is approved, and are subject to drug testing. FCS is a drug-free workplace and does not recognize Medical Marijuana cards.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
- At least two years of medical or clinical work experience.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
- Proficiency with computer software such as Excel, Word, and OncoEMR.
Nice To Haves
- Oncology or pharmacy experience is highly preferred.
