About The Position

Join a collaborative research environment within the Cognitive Neurology Laboratory at the Turner Institute for Brain and Mental Health, contributing to the coordination and delivery of a large pharmacological study exploring decision-making and motivation in healthy young adults. This role is integral to the effective running of study activities, including participant screening, scheduling, and administering behavioural tasks, while supporting rigorous data collection and the delivery of high-quality research outcomes. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality research and administrative support across the study lifecycle. This includes maintaining accurate records, contributing to data analysis and reporting, and ensuring adherence to established research protocols, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements. The role also provides opportunities to contribute to broader laboratory activities, supporting ongoing projects and fostering a collaborative and continuously improving research environment.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience aligned to the discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience administering behavioural tasks in cognitive neuroscience.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to produce clear, accurate documentation.
  • Valid and current Australian work rights.
