About The Position
Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Research Nurse Specialist for Weill Cornell Medicine in New York, New York. This is a full-time, on-site position with no travel required. The role involves coordinating clinical research studies while ensuring exceptional patient care and protocol compliance. The specialist will screen and assess patient eligibility for investigational studies, coordinate informed consent, patient education, follow-up visits, and ongoing study participation. They will collaborate with physicians, research teams, sponsors, and Institutional Review Boards (IRB), and monitor study medications, laboratory testing, specimen processing, and protocol compliance. The position also involves assisting with policy development, nursing education, and implementation of research protocols within a premier academic medical and research institution advancing innovative patient care.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) REQUIRED
- Current New York Registered Nurse License REQUIRED
- Minimum Two Years of Clinical Nursing Experience REQUIRED
- Strong Patient Education and Assessment Skills REQUIRED
- Excellent Communication, Organization, and Documentation Skills REQUIRED
