About The Position

Provides routine, technical, and administrative support to research projects to ensure established protocols and procedures are followed for the lab. Responsible for following lab safety standards. The research laboratory aide will assist PI Grodin in all aspects of her day-to-day laboratory tasks, including coordinating meetings, managing undergraduate students, submitting and managing IRB protocols, establishing laboratory data infrastructure, recruiting participants, and running participants through data protocols.

Requirements

• High School Diploma; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
• Experience assisting with or managing a human subjects laboratory.
• Experience with Office software (word, excel).

Nice To Haves

• BA or BS in psychology, neuroscience, or related field.
• Preferred experience with IRB.
• Preferred experience working with participants with alcohol or substance use disorders.
• Preferred experience with data management.
