About The Position

The USC Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences is seeking a fixed-term Research Technician I in the Biological Sciences. The largest and oldest of the USC schools, USC Dornsife functions as the academic core of the university, offering courses and advancing knowledge across the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences. Department of Biological Sciences has many research labs that carry out NIH R01 supported studies.
Requirements
- High school or equivalent, Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education
- 6 - 12 months, Combined education/experience as substitute for minimum experience
- Ability to follow detailed instructions, oral and written

Nice To Haves
- Experience in molecular cloning, protein expression and purification, crystallization screening and structural analysis of proteins
Responsibilities
- Perform cloning and mutagenesis, protein expression and purification, crystallization screening and structural analysis of proteins involved in cancer and immunity.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
