A Research Technician position is available to be a part of the Alzheimer's disease (AD) laboratory. The candidate will be an active participant and contribute to research uncovering cellular and molecular events underlying neuropathological changes in AD, with a goal of discovering new therapeutic treatment. The successful candidate will have opportunities for in vitro and in vivo studies using novel state-of-the art microscopy imaging approaches in combination with biochemical and molecular biology methodologies. They will perform basic protein chemistry experiments (protein expression, quantification, Western blotting etc.), tissue culture, basic DNA related techniques, confocal microscopy.
