This position provides a variety of duties to support departmental needs. Depending on the intern assignment, tasks can vary from laboratory and research assistance. This role does not require patient care.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Prior experience in an office and/or research/laboratory setting 0-1 year preferred
MS Office proficiency as well as the ability to learn how to use new software as needed.
Effective interpersonal and communications skills, with research staff, children, and subject families.
Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot.
An ability to work independently to schedule, plan, and complete subject visits.

Responsibilities

Assists with in-person data collection.
Assists with research experiences.
Prepares for study visits including organizing paperwork, setting up equipment, and preparing study materials.
Assists with subject scheduling.
Assists with other research-related office tasks as needed.
Processes collected data.
